The actual residence was built 20 years ago. Our challenge was to transform this structure into a fully modern residence, as its features speak for its age itself. It is a 15-cent plot with a demand for something new.
Each space creates a visual frame of nature which creates a folie in a different season. Each frame is carefully placed to create a defined space. The features like bay windows, outer patios, screened balconies and lightened stairwell added both functional and aesthetic value to the structure. The green layers which are closely placed near the openings, balconies, patios, and passages create an interior visual treat for the users. The floral lush layers are carefully transformed into green pockets providing a soothing experience. The boxy angled elevation appears to be a series of frames and gives a contemporary appearance to the structure along with the context.
